Kids & Families

At Christchurch we believe that every person of every age is precious to God and has an important part to play in God's good news mission.  Back in autumn 2023, we launched a new contemporary-style 11.15am service with a worship band and training opportunities for musicians of all ages and stages.  This service has been steadily growing and we now have a dedicated children's team led by the lovely Seth, Qiuzi and Isaac. 

Most weeks, the children spend part of the 11.15 service in the church hall with their own fun and engaging programme.  But we also have special all-age "Sunday Funday" services every 6 weeks, where everyone worships together and it is followed by a bouncy castle and community lunch in the church hall.

Children in school years 5 and 6 are also welcome to join our Monday afternoon youth club.  We also have an exciting calendar of of special events for children and families including holiday clubs, light parties, Christingle services and Music-for-All kickstarter lessons in keyboard, drums, guitar, sound production and organ! 

Our aim is to make sure every child can enjoy themselves in a safe and welcoming environment. Our children's leaders are DBS checked and have first aid and safeguarding training.
